With this special issue eJOV builds on its tradition to serve as a forum for the discussion of novel developments and emerging concepts in network research. In order to facilitate debate and knowledge creation in an early stage of the life-cycle of a topic, the journal accepts peer reviewed publications on topics, which still are emerging.
